After many hours of coding, I am happy to share that Phase 1 (of 3) of the expansion to Hong Kong is now complete! Information about Hong Kong stocks is now available in SGXcafe (e.g. CK Hutchison). At the moment, it hasn’t been incorporated into the search yet, but you can find the full list of active stocks in Hong Kong Stock Exchange here.
In Phase 2, I will focus on features revolving around adding Hong Kong stocks to your portfolio/watchlist. I expect this to take place over the next 1-2 weeks.
As SGXcafe is expanding beyond Singapore, it needs a new name that is easy to understand and remember by people outside of Singapore. Hence I would like to announce that SGXcafe will be renamed to StocksCafe. The domain will also be changed from stocks.cafe to stocks.cafe in the next 1-2 weeks. I am currently preparing the new domain and taking this opportunity to upgrade the infrastructure and architecture so as to serve you better (i.e. faster page load).
For now, there is nothing you need to do except share SGXcafe – I mean, StocksCafe – with friends who invest in the Hong Kong stock market 🙂
Happy investing!
p.s. This is not an April’s Fool prank 😉
Thanks Evan.
Thanks Evan!!
Thanks Evan!
Great work, thanks!
Great work Evan!
Well done Evan, great job as usual 🙂
The currency in profile page is in HKD or SGD? Maybe you need to put a note?
Thanks all 🙂
@Wayne Good point. Added a foot note.
I noticed it may not be clear on the stock page that I am looking at a HKSE stock other than the page tab title. Perhaps you can do it via the stock ticker and price header? SGX:U9E – China Everbright; HKEX:0700 – Tencents instead of U9E – China Everbright; 0700 – Tencent
Good point (again). Thanks. Added.
Thanks Evan for all the hard work, appreciate it. It really a blessing to know you.
Many thanks for the effort
Thanks for the great development effort! 🙂
Thanks all 🙂
Great work and thanks for sharing your resources
