This morning, we upgraded our cache servers, which resulted in all caches being cleared. As a result, some users may see their portfolio data appearing empty or missing.
Please rest assured that all your data is completely safe.
How to recover Portfolio Data?
To restore your portfolio, simply click on “Recompute Portfolio” at the bottom left of the portfolio page. (For mobile users, you can find it under the Portfolio → Current tab.)

What about Dividend Data?
Likewise, many dividend data are cached and hence are cleared. So, if you realised that it is missing or incomplete, you can always click on the “Clear Dividends Cache” (on bottom right of desktop Portfolio/Dividend pages) to ensure that it is updated.
How Does StocksCafe Ensure Your Data Is Safe?
Your data is backed up daily in Google Cloud Storage, and we retain at least 30 days of backups to ensure its safety.
However, we strongly recommend that you enable our weekly data export feature for additional peace of mind. This allows you to receive a backup of your data via email every week.
To enable this feature, simply go to the Regular Export Email page on desktop and turn it on. StocksCafe will then email your data to you weekly for safekeeping.

Afterthoughts: In hindsight, we should have upgraded our cache servers yesterday to coincide with April Fools’—that way, the “missing” data could have been part of the joke! 😆
