A quick update on a few tweaks around SGXcafe.
One of the top feature requests recently in SGXcafe is having more visualization. Specifically, the ability to see at a glance how much dividends you receive monthly (against other years) historically and pie charts to see your portfolio’s breakdown by sector, industry and companies. Feel free to suggest more if there is other information you’d like to see.

I have also noticed that a good amount of users have reached the Watchlist limit of 30 stocks. I previously set this limit to have a cap on computation resources. I have since upgraded my hosting plan to a better one hence I believe it should be able to handle more. Thus, I have set the new limit to 50 stocks. Feel free to follow/watch more stocks if you like. For the record, Friends of SGXcafe have no limit on the number of stocks they can add.
Finally, a user mentioned that it is difficult to find stocks that have been renamed in SGXcafe and kindly shared that he found a blog which lists renamed stocks and believes it would be useful to others. Thank you for sharing!
